Croatian companies have generated approximately €50 million in export revenue from their tie-up with Spar.
Spar Hrvatska is the youngest member of the Spar Austria group, operating in the Croatia over the past ten years and establishing a good cooperation with Croatian producers during this period.
Since 2014, Spar Hrvatska has been working intensively on the export of Croatian products to other Spar countries, a process helped by Croatia's recent entry to the EU.
Cedevita, Čokolino, Argeta paté, Pik Vrbovec ham and salami, as well as products from Leda, Dukat and Vindija are some of the products now on Spar shelves outside Croatia. At the same time, Croatian producers Trenton, Gligor, Zigante, Dukat and Zvečevo have managed to place their products under the Spar private label in countries such as Austria, Slovenia and Hungary.
Spar has been present in Croatia since 2005 and its retail network currently operates 33 Spar supermarkets and 17 Interspar hypermarkets located in all of the largest cities.
