Spar UK is expanding its private label range of medicines to include cold relief capsules, diarrhea capsules, and hayfever and allergy relief tablets.
The retailer currently sells four Paracetamol and Ibuprofen lines, but states that it aims to expand the range because of the continual growth in this market.

“The medicine market is growing annually and our customers want more product choice offering better value for money. At Spar, we are focused on meeting the needs of our shoppers and the three new own label medicines are yet another example of this,” said Cath McIlwham, head of brand at Spar UK.
The products will be introduced into Spar stores in the UK between April and July 2017.
