Système U has launched an advertising campaign pushing its private label range, which is called “U de”, that emphasises the degree to which its own products derive from local food producers and farms across France – that its hypermarkets in any given area of the country rely on produce from that area, LSA reports.
A 25-second television advertisement for the retailer’s private label products, which features a couple enjoying a picnic with goods from the “U de” line, has been running on French television since 28 June, and will continue to do so until 13 July.
Furthermore, large signs have been put in place in all Système U stores which promote its private label goods.
These will remain in place until 7 July.
