Système U has recalled a number of its private label beef burgers, over outside fear that some of them may contain E.coli.
The SKUs fall under the company’s own brand of Bien Vu, and carry a best before date of 23 May 2017, according to medical news source Doctissimo.fr.
If the products are consumed, a risk of gastroenteritis will follow.The products are sold under Système U banners such as Super U and Marché U.
These are spread across the départements of; les Alpes (départements 04, 05, 06), l'Ardèche, l'Ariège, l'Aude, l'Aveyron, les Bouches-du-Rhône, le Cantal, la Corrèze, la Corse, le Gard, la Haute-Garonne, le Gers, la Gironde, l'Hérault, les Landes, le Lot, le Lot-et-Garonne, la Lozère, les Pyrénées (départements 64, 65, 66), le Tarn, Tarn-et-Garonne, le Var, le Vaucluse, and Monaco.
