Retail giant Tesco has launched a private-label baby food range that offers exciting meal options for infants, in different tastes and textures, at affordable prices.
The range, comprising 15 new products made from natural, high-quality ingredients, is available in more than 700 Tesco outlets.
The items are suitable for babies of different age groups, starting at six months, and are priced between £0.45 and £1.80.
The category director for baby, beauty, and toiletries at Tesco, Sinéad Bell, said, “Our recipes have been developed with experts and nutritionists to help babies on their journey of discovering exciting new tastes and textures.”
A Range Of Options
The range includes pouches, ready-meal trays, and rice cakes with no added salt or sugar. It is also devoid of artificial colours or flavouring, with meals having at least 45% vegetables.
“Our organic range of pouches, trays and snacking encourages the experience, enjoyment and exploration of food, with health, taste and quality at the heart of every recipe,” Bell added.
“It’s our way of helping even our youngest customers lead healthier lives and supporting parents in their goal to raise healthy eaters,” she furthered.
Some of the items in the new range include spaghetti Bolognese pouches, vegetable rice, cottage pie, pear, and berry rice cakes.
