British supermarket Tesco has named TV presenter Davina McCall as the new face of its private-label exercise clothing range.
Fitness and healthy-eating enthusiast McCall will represent the supermarket's own-brand Active gym-wear line until the end of the summer.
McCall recently released her latest exercise DVD, Davina 5-Week Fit, along with new recipe book, Davina's Smart Carbs.
Prices for the F&F Activewear collection, which includes items such as printed leggings and neon-coloured tops, start at £8 and are available in sizes six to 18.
Speaking on the announcement, Tesco's chief executive for F&F, Richard Price, said, “We’re immensely proud of the success of activewear at F&F and the investment in the development of its technical and design abilities. Davina is the ideal ambassador for the range, with her legacy of success in the fitness arena. She is someone our customers can really relate to.”
McCall said, "It's lovely, quality material. Everything's super-duper flattering – I love the patterned leggings. I feel really comfortable in it, and I love the colours. It's a no-brainer for me."
