UK retailer The Co-operative Group is relaunching its private label healthy-eating range under a new title, with the addition of several new products.
The newly-named Good Life range will replace the retailer's Healthier Choice and Naturally Healthy product ranges and will be available in store this month.
The range will include cereals and yogurts, sandwiches and salads, ready meals and prepared fruit, as well as skinless chicken breasts and fresh fish. New additions to the range include Singapore noodles, chicken tikka masala and a roast beetroot, butternut squash and greek cheese salad.
"Healthy eating habits have changed - our shoppers don't want diet products that they feel are inferior or second best, they want a more rounded, well balanced and healthier lifestyle all year round," said Kate Jones, head of product development.
The Co-operative said the range had been developed with guidelines for calories, sugar, salt and fat, with front-of-pack traffic light labelling. (4 April)
