Private label management solutions company Trace One, has announced it has created a spin-off supply chain management company.
Transparency-One, a platform for farm to fork supply chain visibility and risk management, has been formed into a separate privately held company.
Trace One provides a platform enabling retailers and their immediate suppliers to collaborate throughout the end-to-end private label product development process; from ideation, through to product launch.
Combined with unique Supplier Collaboration programs, retailers have the ability to enable increased product innovation, improved time to market, enhanced engagement with their suppliers, and competitive differentiation.
“Retailers are under more pressure than ever in order to conform to industry and government driven food safety and labelling legislation” said Bertrand Sciard, executive chairman of Trace One. “With this spin-off, both companies will be able to intensify their focus on their respective solutions.”
Founded in 2001, Trace One serves customer base of 30 leading retailers, across Europe and North America, and 20,000 member manufacturers, supporting $300 billion of private label sales.
