The Wabel Frozen Summit kicked off on 16 March at the Hilton Hotel Paris Charles de Gaulle, bringing together 100 selected private-label suppliers from around the world with over 100 buyers from some of Europe’s leading retail groups.
This year’s two-day core event puts a special focus on the growing free-from sector, as well as sustainable fish.
Attendees can expect informative, targeted speeches from some of the world’s top experts in private label, as well as access to insights from Europe’s best retailers on how suppliers can better serve their needs.
As an important feature of Wabel events, buyers and suppliers will be able to meet each other behind closed doors in pre-organised meetings, allowing for more in-depth discussions.
Networking opportunities will also be provided in a line-up of business lunches and the Wabel Frozen Awards ceremony and cocktail reception, in partnership with Mintel.
On 18 March, for the first time, the Wabel Frozen Summit will also run an optional Co-Packing Day – a unique opportunity for contract manufacturers and food brands to meet face to face.
