Upmarket retailer Waitrose & Partners has announced that it has added a host of new products to its Cooks’ Ingredients range.
The range, aimed at home cooks and bakers, allows customers to experiment with various culinary trends in the comfort of their homes.
New Range
The new additions include key elements of dishes from Mexico, West Africa, Japan, and Vietnam as well as some new baking products, Waitrose said in its statement.
Prominent among the new products is cuttlefish ink, a popular ingredient used in risottos and pasta.
It is similar to squid ink and gives dishes a distinctive black hue and subtle briny flavours that complement seafood.
The range also offers, among others, Barbecoa seasoning from Mexico, Chermoula from Morocco, Tamari Soy Sauce from Japan, and Pistachio paste.
The Cooks’ Ingredients range offers single ingredients, blends, pastes, sauces, meal kits and other products that simplify cooking and baking at home.
