Romanian supermarket chain Profi continues to expand its presence in the country, opening two new stores in Bucharest, as well as Zemes, Dej, Bistrita, Peciu Nou and Dornesti.
The two new stores in Bucharest are of the Profi City format. One is on Basarabia Boulevard and has a sales area of 109 square metres, while the other is on Luica Street and has a sales area of 113 square metres.
Meanwhile, new stores under the Profi Loco banner have opened in Zemes, Dornesti and Peciu Nou. The one in Zemes has a sales area of 210 square metres, the Domesti store's retail space amounts to 218 square metres, while in Peciu Nou, the new store covers a total of 230 square metres.
Finally, the new store in Dej is in the retailer's City format with a sales area of 243 square metres, while a Profi Standard supermarket has been opened in Bistrita, with 372 square metres of retail space.
Boasting the largest geographical coverage in Romania, Profi now has stores in 341 locations across the country.
