Meeting at the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam, CEO of Dutch retailer Albert Heijn, Wouter Kolk and Gerard Dielessen, CEO of NOC*NSF (Dutch Olympic Committee*Dutch Sports Federation), have confirmed a four-year collaboration.
The organisations' joint mission is to inspire and help people to lead a more active life.

Albert Heijn is committed to helping its customers to live healthier lives and NOC*NSF considers it important to get people moving - that sounds like a great starting point for a unique collaboration”, Gerard Dielessen - CEO of NOC*NSF - said.
The partnership will be launched officially in January 2017. In a ten-week pilot project, starting on 22 August, Albert Heijn will invite customers in the province of Utrecht (The Netherlands) to sign up for free trials at hundreds of sports clubs - and find the sport that suits them best.
