Ahold Delhaize’s chief executive Frans Muller has been named the new chairman of the board of the Vlerick Business School in Belgium.
Muller, who has been a member of the school's board since October 2017, will succeed Roch Doliveux.
'Business Needs Of The Future'
Commenting on his new role, Muller said, "I look forward to working closely with the board and our dean professor Marion Debruyne, to ensure Vlerick continues to evolve, as I think education plays an essential role in preparing enterprising leaders to best meet the business needs of the future."
Muller also added that Doliveux played an important role in helping drive the school’s resurgence.
