Ahold Delhaize is now €912 million into a €1 billion share buyback, with the news that it has repurchased 559,672 of Ahold Delhaize common shares in the period from November 13 to 17.
The shares were repurchased at an average price of €16.90 per share for a total consideration of €9.5 million, the retailer said.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 50,307,561 common shares for a total consideration of €912 million.
The repurchases were made as part of Ahold Delhaize’s €1 billion share buyback programme, which was announced in December of last year.
