Dutch retailer Albert Heijn has opened a 'To Go' shop at Campus Wageningen (Gelderland, The Netherlands), on 29 August. The new outlet caters to the student-budget, selling a range of AH Private Label basics and offering special 'end of the month' deals.
In addition to staples such as pizza, sandwiches and pancakes, the Campus' 'To Go' assortment will include 65 new products in the AH Basic range, specifically targeting the student market. For the students "with a little month left at the end of their money" (to quote 'Loesje'), the shop will offer heavily discounted 'end of the month deals', which will be developed in collaboration with student-blogger Leonie ter Veld.
Outside the store, an area with picnic tables, the 'Campus Plaza', will provide a new place to meet, eat and socialise for the university's approximately 12,000 students and 6,500 staff.
The Campus Wageningen 'To Go' is the third on-campus outlet for Albert Heijn, following outlets at the universities of Groningen and The Hague.
