Aldi is expecting to open its first supermarket in the city of Barcelona next week, on the 26th of October.
As reported by eleconomista.es, the new shop will be located on Av. Sarriá and will feature a surface of 1,000 square metres, each with 48 parking spaces. Aldi currently operates 54 supermarkets in Catalonia.
The new shop will offer products from over a hundred local suppliers and is expected to create 20 jobs.
Aldi has operated in Spain since 2002 and currently runs more than 260 supermarkets in the country.
