German retailer and discounter Aldi Süd has announced that it is extending its range of Baby-care products, with 22 Milasan and five Penaten products. The new products will be on the shelves within the next few weeks.
"Since we have recently added toothbrushes and toothpaste for children to our assortment, the next logical step is to include baby food- and care products," said Katrin Krukenberg, in charge of Purchasing at Aldi Süd, adding, "In selecting baby-food, it was important that we will cater to every stage and taste."
The extended Milasan assortment will include infant formula and follow-on milk, vegetable and fruit puree, yogurt, fruit bars and fruit juices, as well as a selection of baby- and toddler menus. The organic Milasan baby-food range is available exclusively from Aldi.
In addition, the Penaten baby-care range will be extended with various creams, powders and oils and a range of diapers and tissues, offering an alternative to the Pampers diapers, which have been available from Aldi stores since March this year.
