Aldi Süd has organised a recruitment day, on 10 September 2016, at the Aldi store in the Rhöndorfer Straße in Cologne-Sülz (Germany). In addition to students and graduates, all professionals, parents and teachers are invited to apply for courses or get more information on career-opportunities in retail at Aldi.
"The participants on the day will receive valuable information from people in the field," Regional Sales Manager Murat Ertürk explained, adding, "they can ask burning questions, for instance, what qualifications you need to get started at Aldi Süd, what the earning potential is or what an average working day looks like. Experienced Regional Sales Managers give tips for handling application forms and job interviews. Those already interested can bring the documentation with them, to speed up the process."
In addition, participants can showcase their practical skills - taking part in checkout-competitions and trolley-races - and check their knowledge of the company in a quiz.
Aldi Süd offers regular retail-training opportunities. The company operates around 1,860 stores in western and southern Germany and more than 5,420 stores internationally.
