Aldi Suisse has opened its first store in the city of Geneva, which is the discounter's fourth outlet in the Canton of Geneva.
The new store, which is the retailer's 188th in Switzerland overall, will feature a range of locally-sourced fruit and vegetables, freshly-baked goods, beauty and home care products.
It will also have a wide selection of Swiss products, such as bread, dairy and meat.
Customer Experience
Aldi says that the new 600 square metre store features a modern design, which will make the customer shopping experience more enjoyable.
In addition, every week there will be a selection of items on promotion, ranging from different specialties to leisure and home goods.
The store will be supplied by Aldi's Domdidier distribution centre, in the Canton of Friborg, which also supplies 60 other Aldi Suisse outlets in French-speaking Switzerland.
