Aldi UK will on Thursday (January 21) begin selling formal office wear for men and women, which, it says costs less than half what it would in Marks and Spencer or high-street retailer, Next, telegraph.co.uk reports.
The apparel, part of the ‘Special Buy’ offer, is available on a while-stocks-last basis, with a complete office outfit will cost £40, Aldi says.
For example, the German retailer is offering a shirt-and-tie set for £8.99, black, real-leather formal shoes for £17.99, a black belt (£4.99), and a pairs of suit trouser for £7.99.
Available for women are Chelsea boots at £11.99, blouses (£7.99), cardigans (£6.99) and black pencil skirts (£4.99 each).
MD for corporate buying at Aldi, Tony Baines, said, "We all know that January is a long month and money can be tight.
"We are therefore really excited to be launching a great value collection of office wear for the first time. This will help professionals put together a fresh wardrobe, which will help them look and feel the part, without spending a fortune."
