Italian regional grocery retailer Gruppo Apulia has opened the first Rossotono stand-alone butcher outlet.
Located in Triggiano near Bari, La Bottega Rossotono offers exclusive fresh Italian produce, sourced mostly from the southern region of Puglia, according to Bari Today.
The store offers a strictly-Italian gastronomy range, with products including locally-sourced quality and controlled meat, such as free-range chicken from Altamura. All meat is sourced from animals that have been reared in a stress-free environment.
Tasting Event
Each week, the store will host a different 'tasting event', which will showcase particular tastes and flavours, while a range of brochures and in-store displays will offer recipe advice and menu ideas, as well as guidance on health and nutrition.
Rossotono is a butcher franchise developed by Gruppo Apulia, that until now was exclusively available in Simply Market supermarkets in the Puglia region. The concept has been developed to increase the perceived value of the product, combining the tradition of meat processing, animal husbandry and quality products.
