Auchan Poland’s Białystok shopping centre is to benefit from a new customer relaxation zone and an arcade, through expansion work that will add 5,800 square metres of floor space to the property.
Its car park will have a capacity of 250 greater than at present, in order to cater for the increased numbers of shoppers who will pass through the premises.
The building will be spread over 25,000 square metres of floor space when the project is finished, in H1 of next year.
English.EuroBuildCEE.com notes, 'The construction work is being planned in such a way so as not to hinder tenants’ everyday operations or inconvenience customers.
'A dozen or so new outlets are to be opened as a result of the extension. The two largest outlets in the extended Auchan shopping centre will be occupied by the H&M clothing brand and a Toys’R’Us megashop.'
The expansion project is being effected by the architectural studio Egis Poland.
