French retailer Auchan has launched a new campaign to promote 'good, healthy, and local products'.
The health and well-being initiative will be introduced in 14 countries, and the retailer will take actions to 'benefit customers, employees, society in general, and the planet as a whole'.
Campaign Overview
The initiative will include Auchan reviewing its own-brand products to increase nutritional value, supporting sustainable agriculture, launching a health coach app, which will analyse customer's shopping receipts, and introducing health initiatives for its employees.
"Consumers and employees are increasingly attentive to their well-being and quality of life," said Wilhelm Hubner, chief executive of Auchan Retail. "It is in response to these aspirations that Auchan Retail launched the movement 'Campaigners for good, healthy and local products'."
