French retailer Auchan has begun testing a delivery service in Bordeaux, according to LSA-Conso.fr.
The trial period was initiated on 13 February by Auchan Drive Bordeaux le Lac, which is working with Colisweb to provide the delivery format. The start-up has already secured working relations with Franprix, Darty, and Leroy Merlin.
For the south-France area, delivery is offered within two hours, or by appointment. Deliveries costing €180 or more are free; those which amount to between €120 and €180 cost €5.90, while for the €60 to €120 bandwidth the fee is €11.90.
The service is currently unavailable for orders which fall below the €60 mark.
Auchan already operates an established click-and-collect service across France
