Auchan Ukraine is hiring its next generation of staff through its participation in the EU’S ‘Pact for Youth 2020’ programme.
The French supermarket chain – the only retailer involved in the project – harbours the initial objective of recruiting 250 trainees, as well as 30 university graduates, by the close of 2016.
The project, which is supported by the European Parliament and was initiated in Brussels last year, 'urges Ukrainian companies to create at least 100 partnerships between the economical sector and the education sector, and to guarantee 10,000 jobs and internships before 2020,' Auchan says.
'The signing of the Pact completes the ‘Retailer of Tomorrow’ programme that Auchan Retail Ukraine launched for young graduates in March 2016.'
