Auchan Retail has been rewarded with a CSR Certificate by the Ukrainian 'Social Responsibility Mark' association for its charitable activity.
Auchan Retail is the only retailer amongst the 17 winners of the certificate. Some 44 companies were nominated, for their work on improving the living conditions of local communities.
Auchan Retail Ukraine also establshed a number of other CSR intiatives in the past year: a fund for children with Down's Syndrome, for the support of infants born with heart problems, projects for disabled children and displaced families and a partnership with SOS Children's Villages.
