Auchan Ukraine has signed a 'Pact for Youth 2020' in order to guarantee jobs and internships for young graduates.
The European Parliament has declared its support for the initiative, which was initiated last year in Brussels. As part of the programme, Ukrainian companies are urged to create at least 100 partnerships between the economic sector and the education sector.
Between now and 2020, 10,000 jobs and internships should be guaranteed.
By the end of 2016, Auchan Retail wants to hire 250 trainees and 30 young graduates.
The signing of the Pact follows on from the 'Retailer of Tomorrow' programme that Auchan Retail Ukraine launched for young graduates in March 2016.
