Ukraine’s commercial affairs court has ruled in favour of French grocer Auchan, after it appealed a judgement asserting that it had broken competition laws, Interfax.com.ua reports.
The country’s Antimonopoly Committee initially judged Auchan and others to have infringed a number of such regulations.
The ruling against Auchan was also made against Billa-Ukraine, Metro Cash & Carry Ukraine, Fozzy-Food LLC, Fora LLC, Novus Ukraine LLC, Furshet, Furshet Center, Foodmarket LLC, ACNielsen Ukraine, and ATB-market LLC.
Fozzy-Food, Fora, ATB-market, Billa-Ukraine, Novus Ukraine, Furshet, Furshet Center and ACNielsen Ukraine have all had their initial appeals rejected. However, Auchan was successful.
The appeals of Metro Cash & Carry Ukraine and Foodmarket have yet to take place.
