Austrian supermarket chain Merkur has introduced a promotional series of 36 magnetic, 3D Finding Nemo collectibles and collection album. The promotion coincides with Merkur's new, child-oriented marketing programme and the release of a new Finding Nemo film.
The promotion encourages children to collect and swap the popular Pixar characters and create their own story lines, turning their collection album into an interactive underwater-landscape. Alternatively, the magnets can be used on fridges and other magnetic surfaces.
"We are very happy to introduce a new Merkur album, which will hopefully delight our customers and their children again. Promotions like these - in line with our new in-store marketing programme - are designed to instill a sense of adventure in the youngest and set a trend in collecting. It's another step on our road to become the most child-friendly supermarket in Austria", said Kerstin Neumayer, Chairperson of Merkur.
The promotion runs from 1 September to 25 October 2016, in Merkur Markets across Austria. The magnets cost €0.75 each, or are free, with every €10 spent at the store.
