Sweden's Axfood has announced the names of members of the nominating committee for its Annual General Meeting, scheduled for 18 March 2020 in Stockholm.
According to a resolution passed by the 2019 Annual General Meeting, the committee is to comprise of members appointed by the four largest shareholders in terms of votes as per 30 August 2019.
The Members
The committee will be chaired by Caroline Berg and Axel Johnson AB.
Other members include Joachim Spetz of Swedbank Robur Funds, Johan Strandberg of SEB Funds, and Jan Särlvik of Nordea Investment Funds.
The committee will be responsible for drafting recommendations for the chairman presiding over the Annual General Meeting, electing the chairman of the board, other board members, and auditors.
It will also determine the fees for directors and auditors, and set up guidelines for the composition of the nominating committee.
