A study performed by MonsieurDrive.com, a French website that compares the prices of goods in different supermarkets, has shown that beauty and hygiene products for women are more expensive than those created for men.
According to a report in LSA, the research found that in France, such products are on average are four per cent more expensive for women than they are for the opposite sex. Morevover, in the case of razor blades, women must pay up to 30 per cent more than their male counterparts.
The study, which was carried out between 19 March and 26 March of this year, also shows that there is a marked differential in terms of shaving products: those designed for women are up to 15 per cent more costly than those designed for men.
