Belgian police arrested a suspect amid a bomb scare at the City 2 shopping mall in the center of Brussels, local media reported, citing the prosecutor’s office.
The suspect called police on Tuesday morning to say that he was walking around with an explosives belt, according to Belga newswire.
The area has been cordoned off and the bomb-disposal team are examining the belt at the scene, the newswire said.
