Belgian retailer Colruyt has opened what it describes as a ‘new generation store’ in the municipality of Herstal.
The store, which opened on 27 July, has been ‘extended and completely renovated’, the retailer said, and incorporates a new butcher counter and a Collect&Go pick-up point for online shopping.
"Colruyt renovates its stores to make them more efficient and to make shopping for customers more pleasant,” said store manager Michael Crutze. “When making renovations, we always aim at simplicity and the lowest costs, as our customers expect from us."
Crutze added that the Collect&Go service will enable customers to “have their products ready at the pick-up point on the day and time of their choice”.
