Speaking exclusively to RevistaInfoRetail.com, Claudio Estévez, Franchise Director of Caprabo, said, "This is a very consolidated business model. Our plan is to open 16 franchised shops in 2016, with the mid-term objective of reaching 100 franchised supermarkets by 2018."

He added that the main focus will continue to be the region of Catalonia, but that the company also hopes to enter areas where it has no presence at the moment.

"Our franchise model is a long term one, therefore our relationship with our franchise owners is very close,” he commented.
