Carrefour Italia Introduces Two New Store Formats

Carrefour Italia has introduced two new store formats in the country – Carrefour Market Attrazione 2.0 and Carrefour Express 3 Minuti.

The first store of the Attrazione 2.0 banner has opened in Pomezia in the Lazio region. Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, it offers more than 16,000 references over a surface area of 2,500 square metres.

The new format focuses on promotion, pricing and convenience, with a special focus on over 1,000 local product references.

In the food segment, a 60 square metre section is dedicated to the Bio area, with over 800 products, including organic, gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan. The store also features a perfume shop, seasonal non-food, and textiles.

Convenience Format

Meanwhile, the city of Genova has been chosen as the location of the new convenience store format called Carrefour Express 3 Minuti.

The new store aims to enable consumers to shop in a simple and quick manner. In addition, they will also be able to choose from high-quality breakfast options, make a quick lunch break, purchase a snack or a ready-made dinner.

Other services include free wi-fi, photo printing, purchasing public transport tickets, gift cards, mobile phone top-ups, payment of bills, and money transfers.

The store has a sales areas of 160 square metres and is part of the network of 147 Carrefour Express stores in the Liguria region, 71 of which are in Genoa.
