Carrefour has opened a new hypermarket in Bucharest, Romania, which it describes as offering an 'innovative shopping experience'.
The hypermarket is located in the Park Lake shopping centre in the centre of the Romanian capital, and its the group's 11th hypermarket in the city. Carrefour operates a total of 30 hypermarkets in Romania.
Within the store, particular emphasis has been given to fresh produce, with an 'in-house laboratory' developing fresh recipes for customers.
The store is 7,800 square metres in size, and employs a total of 350 personnel.
