Carrefour has opened a new hypermarket in Bayonne – its 229th ‘city’ hypermarket.
Boasting 5,000 square metres of floor space, the store showcases local produce, with over 1,100 SKUs such as meats, cheeses and yoghurts sourced from suppliers of the French Basque region.
It offers 70 kitchen-homeware SKUs, and has a comprehensive offering of Aquitaine wines, LSA.fr claims.
The Hypermarché Carrefour de Bayonne also houses a restaurant where shoppers can enjoy homemade burgers, sandwiches and in-house crafted sushi, among other foodstuffs.
