Carrefour Taiwan has announced further expansion in the country and is expanding its multiformat store offering.
The French retailer will open four new supermarkets in Taiwan, meaning that it will now operate a total of 18 outlets in the country.
The stores, which will range from 500 to 720 square metres, are located in Tainan in the south, and Taichung in the centre of Taiwan.
"Customers now have the choice to shop in Carrefour hypermarkets and in supermarkets for a quicker shop," the company said in a statement.
