Carrefour Poland has launched an online platform which allows its customers to purchase groceries and over 800 non-food items, including smartphones, laptops and televisions, supplychainanalysis.igd.com reports.
The president of Carrefour Poland, Guillaume de Colonges, has said that the service will run complementarily to its supermarkets across the country.
Initially, in the case of Krakow, the online function will be available only as a click-and-collect service, with the Zakopianka business park acting as a pick-up point.
Carrefour Poland’s deliveries cost a flat fee of PLN9.99 (€2.32), and the service became available on 18 December.
