Following the launch of its online portal in December 2015, Carrefour Poland has now made grocery SKUs available through the service.
Initially the e-commerce channel was home to 800 non-food products only, among which were phones, laptops and televisions. Now, 12,000 food/drink SKUs are available through eCarrefour.pl.
Moreover, the number of non-food items the website sells has reached 4,500, a Carrefour statement confirms.
'For the time being,' the retailer said, 'only customers from a few Warsaw neighbourhoods can take advantage of this offering: Białołęka, Targówek, Praga Południe and Praga Północ, Zielonka, Ząbki and Marki.
'Over the next few months, it will be rolled out to the whole of Warsaw, and will eventually be available in larger towns and cities across Poland.'
