Carrefour Poland has opened its second ‘Gourmet’ Carrefour Market store – a 1,100-square-metre outlet that boasts over 15,000 SKUs including a ‘vast choice’ of fresh produce, ‘healthier’ foodstuffs (organic, gluten-free, etc.) and cured meat products from the ‘Wędzarnia Carrefour’ smokery.
The supermarket, situated on rue Gołębia in Podkowa Leśna, just outside Warsaw, is staffed by 45 people.
“The new Podkowa Leśna store has an extremely varied offering,” the retailer stated in a press release. “Consisting of over 15,000 different products, it includes a vast choice of fruit and vegetables, regional products supplied by local manufacturers and farmers.”
“The range of healthy products is supplemented by products sold in bulk such as raisins, nuts, beans, peas and lentils. The new store also stocks products from the Carrefour Quality Line range, regional products of French origin under the ‘Reflets de France’ brand and Italian ‘Terre d'Italia’ specialities, marketed exclusively by Carrefour.”
Furthermore, Carrefour says, “Customers of the new store can also take advantage of programmes to help them save whilst shopping: „Karty Dużej Rodziny” (large family card) and „Karty Seniora”, and can take part in the „Zyskuj na okrągło” (Benefit round the clock) campaign, which enables customers to buy basic necessities at stable, ‘square deal’ prices.”
