Carrefour Polska has launched 'BIO for health', a new initiative that forms part of the retailer’s Act for Food campaign to promote organic products with the lowest price guarantee.
The campaign also includes a range of educational activities for consumers, to encourage them to embrace a better diet.
Organic Nutrition
"Thanks to the latest campaign, we want to educate customers and break down the main barriers that stop them from using organic products, such as prices or a lack of knowledge,” commented Michal Sacha, Carrefour Polska’s director of marketing, digital, IT and e-commerce.
Aa part of its initiative, Carrefour provides information about organic food through social networks like Facebook and Instagram as well as on its carrefour.pl website.
Moreover, the retailer is cooperating with the popular parenting blogger Bakusiowo , as well as Professor Ewa Rembiałkowska from the department of organic food at the Faculty of Human Nutrition Sciences and SGGW Consumption.
In-Store Showcase
The retailer is also rolling out a range of in-store graphics and leaflets, which explain the labelling of organic products as well as their nutritional value.
Carrefour wants to become a leader in terms of changing eating habits, with the implementation of a ‘food transformation’ policy.
