Carrefour has proposed establishing a psychological help and advice hotline for the benefit of its employees, LSA reports.
This initiative, should it come to pass, would follow the psychological support network that the retailer established three years ago. Through this system, Carrefour employees have access to guidance regarding housing, pensions and the French family allowance, among other issues that may concern them.
The hotline would, a spokesperson for the retailer said, "exist in order to complement the current system, as opposed to replacing it".
There would be no limit to the number of times any given employee could use the support line, and the operation would act in accordance with its charter of good practice.
