Carrefour Spain has strengthened its workforce with the addition of 6,000 employees to support existing staff during the 2016 summer season.
As reported by revistaaral.com, 90 per cent of the hired staff will be integrated into the group’s hypermarkets, with the remainder going to supermarkets and other branches of the company such as travel agencies, petrol stations and financial services.
The selected candidates are required to have a clear business and customer service orientation and the ability to work as part of a team. The profile is very diverse, although young workers looking for their first job and students comprise the majority.
Carrefour Spain is expecting to sign 4,400 indefinite contracts in 2016 and has already over 46,000 workers under its payroll.
