Swedish retailer ICA Gruppen has announced that the chief executive officer of its real estate division, Lena Boberg, has stepped down from her position.
Boberg was instrumental in driving the development of the company's real estate strategy, which included setting up attractive retail destinations for customers.
'A Highly Appreciated Leader'
Chief executive of ICA Gruppen, Per Strömberg, said, "She also established our joint ventures, Ancore and Secore, which have helped ICA Gruppen secure and develop key retail properties. Lena has been a highly appreciated leader and colleague to us in ICA, and I wish her great success in the future."
She will leave the company in the summer of this year and assume the role of the head of real estate of Alecta in Sweden.
