The new general manager has extensive experience in the food sector, having worked for major companies such as Pavesi, Aia, Barilla Alimentari and Unichips San Carlo.
He is also a board member of Agecore, an international purchasing alliance that boasts a turnover of €146.7 billion and 23.500 shops in Europe.
Since June 2017 Avanzini has held the role of chairman at Cpr System, a leading Italian company in recyclable packaging and pooling of pallets.
