Spanish retailer Condis has opened 26 convenience stores and remodelled 10 during the first half of 2016.
According to revistaaral.com, and I nvestment of €6.5 million has been allocated for this, which is an increase of 62 per cent compared to the first half of the previous year.
The move has added 6,250 square metres to its sales total.
Condis currently has 479 establishments, 32 more than the 447 that the company had in June 2015.
Of the 26 shops opened so far in 2016, 15 trade under the Condis Express banner (14 in Barcelona and 1 in Madrid).
Since the creation of Condis Express in 2013, 56 convenience shops have been opened under the banner.
