Spanish agrifood group, Confectionary Holding, which controls brands such as 1880, El Lobo, Doña Jimena and Imperial Toledana, has begun producing nougat, turrón, and other sweets and chocolates for the Christmas season.

As reported by eleconomista.es, the company expects its exports to grow  by 12% this holiday season.

It estimates a production of four million kilos of assorted goods, which will lead to the creation of 300 new jobs.

To achieve this objective, the company plans to strengthen its innovation platform. It hope to have between 7 to 10% of export sales coming from innovative products.
