The latest Norway RepTrak survey, conducted by communications agency Apeland in conjunction with the Reputations Institute, has recognised Coop Norway as having the best reputation in the grocery industry in the country.
The retailer received 82.4 points out of a possible 100 in the survey, which ranks Norway's 50 most visible businesses on the basis of trust, admiration, and respect.
The score marks a growth of 6.5 points for Coop compared with last year, hailing the company's 'outstanding reputation', according to a survey of 10,000 consumers.
Coop received the highest score in the grocery industry, and came third overall out of the 50 companies included in the survey.
"The feedback comes on top of a very pleasant growth in market share and revenue for our stores through 2016, which has continued into 2017," said Geir Inge Stokke, CEO of Coop Norway.
