Costco has reported net sales of $149.35 billion (€135.34 billion) in the 52 weeks ended 1 September, up 7.9% from $138.43 billion (€125.45 billion) in the same period last year.
The retailer's overall comparable sales grew 6.1% during the fiscal year, while e-commerce sales were up 23.1%.
In the US and Canada, comparable sales grew 7.8% and 1.6% respectively, with other international markets registering a 2.0% growth.
Quarterly Results
For the 16-week fourth quarter ended September 1, the retailer reported net sales growth of 7.0% to $46.45 billion (€42.09 billion) from $43.41 billion (€39.34 billion) in 2018.
Its overall comparable sales increased 5.1% during this period, while e-commerce sales saw a 19.8% growth.
In the four weeks ended 1 September 2019, Costco saw net sales growth of 6.9% to $11.79 billion (€10.68 billion) from $11.03 billion (€10.00 billion) in the same period last year.
